For children ages 8 to 12 – Design, build, and explore your ideas using available materials that you have at home or in your recycling bin. We’ll start by looking together at artwork from STARDUST and then we’ll warm up with a short game. We will then work on an art challenge of the week. Rather than a step-by-step art assignment, this is a time to improvise and play.
We recommend the following materials: paper, pencil, markers, scissor, glue stick, masking tape, and clean recycled materials like mac and cheese cardboard boxes, bottle caps, fabric leftovers, or other found objects. There is no need to buy any materials. Improvising is part of the fun and challenge.
Everyone will have time to share their work at the end of the workshop.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a Zoom link and password for the session. Note that space is limited to 10 students.
