Drive-Through Events for Families in Los Angeles

Looking for COVID-friendly Drive-Through events in Los Angeles? Below we’ve gathered a list of all the fun events going on in the Los Angeles area that were created with social distancing in mind. This way you can focus on having fun with your family.

Fair Foodie Fest – Feb 5th-Feb 28th

Ahh, fair food, one of life’s unexpected pleasures which, due to COVID, has become quite the rarity. So, we couldn’t imagine not including the Fair Foodie Fest on this list. This free-entry event is looking to serve you your favorite fair treats, confections, and dishes via drive-through at the Rose Bowl Stadium!

At the fest, you can expect to find fair staples including but not limited to giant turkey legs, funnel cakes, deep-fried Oreos, cotton-candy, BBQ, colossal onion rings, and so much more.

And if you get a ticket online, you’ll also get a free powdered sugar mini funnel cake while supplies last (1 per car)

However, please keep in mind that in order to keep things as sanitary and safe as possible for attendees and guests, cash will not be allowed and masks are required.

The Fair Foodie Fest is currently taking place from Feb 5th-Feb 28th. To see operation times please click here (and scroll towards the middle of the page).

Sugar Rush – March 25th – April 25th, 2021

Sugar Rush is one of LA’s newest drive-through experiences located in Woodland Heels. In this experience, you will get to see colorful installations, unique displays, tunnels, delicious candy, and more.

For more detailed information check out a previous announcement we posted on Sugar Rush here

Electric Mile – Begins January 2021

Out of all the drive-thru events in Los Angles, if you’re a fan of light shows, disco balls, music, and having an all-around good time then Insomniac’s Electric Mile is the event for you. From the safety of your car you’ll be transported to several worlds of light in this unique drive-thru experience.

Learn more about it here in our recent write up.

The Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru Experience – Feb. 19-28

Though this event is set to end soon (Feb 28th) we still wanted to include it in this list. After all, it’s not every day that more than 70 true-to-life dinosaurs rise from the dead.

Currently, you can experience the Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru at Fairplex in Pomona: Feb. 19-28. Tickets start at $49/ per vehicle (up to 8 people). For more details check out our previous announcement here

Movie Night – Minions

If you’re ever running low on ideas of what to do for your next socially distanced family outing, going to a drive-in theatre is always a pretty safe bet (even before the pandemic). Currently, you can catch a showing of Minions (2015) at the Gardena Cinema at 6 pm from March 4th – March 7th.

We have more details here

Movie Night – Spy Kids

In addition to the Minions, you can also catch Spy Kids. This movie however will be showing at The Roadium Drive-In on March 5th at 7 pm. Please note however that gates open at 6 pm so if you want a good spot be prepared to arrive a little early. Tickets cost $30/ per vehicle.
