This year I’ve been focused on creating a healthier lifestyle for my family and I, and lately I’ve been obsessed with smoothies! As a working mom, I’m constantly on the go and need something easy, quick, and filling to satisfy me. Hence, my obsession with smoothies!

I’ve been trying out different recipes, learning to create healthy, delicious tasting smoothies that I grab and go with minimal effort.  I also love adding chia seeds and collagen to my smoothies. Chia seeds provide omega-3 fatty acids, and the “good” kind of cholesterol that helps protect your heart; while collagen improves hair, skin, nails, joints and ligaments, tendon health and overall gut health.

Random fact: when I was in college I worked for a smoothie company and fell in love with the Vitamix! I still use it to this day, but found this awesome personal cup & adaptor add-on, where I can make a single serving smoothie, throw a reusable straw in it, and walk out the door!
